Winter

1. Love a lovie

A dear friend just had the cutest baby boy and asked me to be one of the Godmothers. Yay! What an honor - bonus, I get to buy all the baby things again. Starting with this adorable lovie. I ordered and had monogrammed from a friends store in Savannah.

2. Old Lady Hands No More!

Winter has been here it and it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. So it’s the little things people. A dab of this deliciousness while I wait for my 4th coffee of the day is sometimes all you need to make it all ok after all.

3. Heart the Lover

I loved, loved this book. I thought the writing was outstanding and it was such a beautiful story about love and heartbreak and decisions you make that shape your life. Also, until my Book Club met, I did not realize this was part of a series. I now need to read Writers & Lovers by Lily King ASAP to know what happened before. The link above is from my friend Summer’s store in Charleston, always support independent ones, rain or shine.

4. This Cardigan though

Stripes. Cream + Green. Knitwear. Need I say more? The Elder Statesman can do no wrong in my book. And where I live in The Great White North a piece like this can be thrown over your shoulders well into June so, here you go. You’re Welcome.

5. A Happy Hat

And while we’re “Wintering” why not bring some joy in with this guy?

6. Yummy Chicken

Green Goddess Roasted Chicken. I love this Green Goddess stuff! It will warm your belly and perhaps soul, as you sit by the fire and watch the last of the Olympic hurrahs this week. What are we going to watch next?!
